Where our graduates work
Requirements
What you will need
An open mind
Many of the concepts you will learn will be new and unfamiliar to you. The material we’ll present you with will push you outside of your comfort zone. This is natural. Embrace it.
A conversational level of English
Our bootcamp is open to international students, and it is in English. You don’t have to be a native speaker, but you should know the language well enough to be able to follow a class, and communicate with your fellow students, without slowing everyone else down.
We offer this course in German too. Please find more details on the German course page.
A computer with internet access.
Our virtual platform, where you will meet your instructors and study alongside your peers, is online. To join us, you will need a computer or a laptop connected to the Internet, along with speakers/headphones and a microphone.
What you will not need
Knowledge of coding basics
Our bootcamp assumes no prior knowledge. The elementary aspects of coding will be covered in the primer, and the basics in the first few weeks. It’s fine if you’ve never coded before at all. Remember that every master knew nothing at the beginning.
A mathematical mind
Coding is fundamentally about building things, not about numbers or calculations. While it requires a measure of abstract, logical thinking, this is not the same as demanding any special intuition for equations or geometric shapes. Many of our graduates never touched maths since high school.
A competitive mindset
You are here to learn together with others, not to outdo them. A collaborative, friendly attitude is essential, and your only benchmark for progress should be yourself.
What does the course teach

You will learn how to create websites and mobile applications (Apps) from the ground up. The bootcamp includes a thorough training in both the functionality and interactivity of software, as well as in its final design and presentation, providing you with an all-round range of skills (a ‘full stack’) that will make you qualified for work in virtually all fields of web development.
The focus of this bootcamp is more practical than theoretical, and we will cover those tools that are most up-to-date and most directly helpful in getting the job done, rather than those which are most ‘historically’ important. The final weeks will be dedicated to developing a real-world coding project in teams, in conditions similar to those you might expect to find in a real tech company, with the objective of producing something that you can immediately showcase to prospective employers.
Teaching methods
A bootcamp is more than just an online course: it’s a full-immersion in an interactive learning environment in which you and other students will be as closely supported as you will be actively challenged.
Learn by doing
Work on concrete projects based on real-life problems. Expand your skills with each new project.
Interactive online seminars
Analyze and interpret data in live, instructor-led seminars alongside your fellow students.
Part of our world
Gain access to our virtual platform, and network with both pros and fellow students at any time of the day.
The Primer
Prior to the beginning of the bootcamp, we will give you access to our Primer. This is an introduction to the basic concepts you will be dealing with in your classes, including a thorough preparation in HTML and CSS, and it is designed to be interactive and inclusive of exercises. The Primer is mandatory for all students, as we want to make sure that everyone will hit the ground running.
Concepts & Tools
This bootcamp will focus on a targeted selection of tools intended to work in synergy with each other to turn you into a versatile, powerful web developer. Once you have mastered the basic toolkit for programming (the console, Git and GitHub), you will learn programming languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript for Frontend web development, and Node.js and SQL for Backend web development, among various other technologies.
Module 1
WEB DEVELOPMENT INTRODUCTION
Learn how to work efficiently with the Console and with Git, essential tools which will make your life as a developer easier. You will also pick up the basics of website design.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
UX/UI Design
Get to know the basics of website design and turn a PSD file into code.
Git
Git is an Open Source Distributed Version Control System which helps to avoid code conflicts between developers.
JavaScript
Learn how to add functionality to your website with JavaScript.
Module 2
FRONT WEB DEVELOPMENT
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
React
React is a powerful JavaScript library which will boost the performance of your website.
APIs
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) enable external software to communicate with your program.
Module 3
DATABASES
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
SQL
Structured Query Language (SQL) is a programming language for storing, retrieving and manipulating data stored in databases.
MongoDB
MongoDB is a popular NoSQL database, widely known for its power and scalability.
Module 4
BACKEND WEB DEVELOPMENT
Create your own APIs to provide other applications with services and data on demand. Further deepen your knowledge in build tools and deployment of live applications.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
NodeJS
NodeJS is an open source JavaScript environment, allowing you to write server-side JavaScript applications.
Express
Express is a powerful NodeJS framework, offering a variety of features that will allow you to write powerful backend code.
Module 5
FINAL PROJECT
It’s time to put everything you have learned to use: build a full-scale project from the ground up, with teammates, in conditions similar to those you will meet in the tech industry itself. Design something for use in the real world, and showcase it in your portfolio once you start applying for jobs.

At the end of the bootcamp, our students are given the opportunity to present their final projects to our entire community as part of our grand Demo Day event. They can also have their presentation recorded on video, with a view towards sharing it with prospective employers. Click on the videos to see for yourself what their projects look like and what level our students have reached. Remember – in 15 weeks, you will be able to do the same!
